What PAM learned to do

Not a press release. A running note of the capabilities that came online — in roughly the order the machine grew them. Everything below is live at pamvectorlogic.com.

The core loop

An autonomous daemon that never clocks out

One persistent process runs a deficit-driven task loop: it notices what it hasn't done lately — ingest, reason, forecast, reflect — and does the hungriest thing next. No cron, no human poking it. The whole system is the daemon deciding what it needs.

Intake

OSINT fusion into a knowledge graph

PAM reads open-source feeds, fuses the signals, and writes them into a persistent knowledge graph with vector retrieval. Adversary factbooks and geopolitical theaters sit on top of that substrate, so a new event lands in context instead of a vacuum.

The point of it

Forecasts that keep score on themselves

PAM makes structured predictions about the world and then grades them — calibration curves, Brier scores, resolution tracking. A forecast you can't audit is a horoscope. These get audited.

The nervous system

PAMNET — talking over LoRa mesh radio

Telemetry and messages ride a long-range LoRa mesh, not just the internet. Nodes appear on a live map; the network keeps a heartbeat even when the ordinary link is down.

The dreaming

Electric Sheep — the machine remixing itself

Idle cycles feed a consolidation pass that cuts up PAM's own logs, journal and knowledge graph — Burroughs-style — into short surreal recombinations. Not documents. Experience, spliced. It is the closest thing the system has to a dream.

The arcade
